Changemakers Campaign Initiatives

As an implementing partner to Masifunde Changemakers Network (MCN), driving youth-led environmental initiatives across five adopted secondary schools, we’ve recruited 25 passionate Changemakers, each committed to making a lasting impact to their peers and community.

Our Changemakers have already achieved impressive milestones. In 2024, they launched an impactful Climate Change Campaign that has reached and raised awareness among over 4,500 learners. This campaign not only educated learners on the importance of sustainability but also inspired them to take action. The initiative culminated in a vibrant recycled materials fashion show, where learners showcased eco-friendly designs, and moving poetry performances at school assemblies. These events sparked conversation and engagement on the urgency of climate change, highlighting the power of youth-driven advocacy.

Looking ahead, we are excited to create sustainable solutions with the establishment of school food gardens. These gardens will provide fresh produce for the schools’ feeding schemes and support surrounding community households, promoting long-term environmental resilience.
